NEW YORK, May 18, 2018 – Obeetee, a global leader in hand-woven carpets, announced the appointment of Patricia Ben-Zvi to President of Obeetee, Inc., which handles the company’s product marketing and distribution for all of North America and is headquartered in New York City. The appointment is effective immediately.

Ben-Zvi comes to Obeetee from West Elm, the trend-setting, Brooklyn-born home furnishings retailer and a branch of Williams-Sonoma, Inc. There she held the position of Omni Buyer managing the bedding, flooring, window, pillows, throws and bath textiles for retail, e-commerce and catalog throughout her tenure. Prior to that, she worked for the Italian fashion brand Max Mara, where she held positions in both Buying and Visual Merchandising to round out her extensive retail experience.

Ben-Zvi is Magna Cum Laude graduate of New York’s Fashion Institute of Technology and earned a Bachelor of Science in Fashion Merchandising Management / International Trade and Marketing.
