NEW YORK, Nov. 8, 2017 -- Obeetee, a world leader in hand-woven carpets, is exhibiting for the first time at Boutique Design New York (BDNY) at the Jacob K. Javits Center here, Sunday, November 12 and Monday, November 13 as well as showing at Dubai Design Week, November 13 through 18. At BDNY, the carpet leader will showcase its new Obeetee Express quick-ship program at Booth #1374. Obeetee Express is ideal for the hospitality sector as well as corporate interiors, while also being luxurious enough for home.

The program offers expertly hand-tufted carpets with a two-week lead time for strike-offs after rendering approval and a six-to-eight week production time for most sizes. There are hundreds of designs on the new Obeetee Express website -- www.obeeteeexpress.com -- from which to choose, from tribal and "deconstructed" designs to updated traditional. Customers can also submit their own designs.

Obeetee Express offers 194 stocked colors in 100% New Zealand wool. The website allows customers to select from these hues to develop their own unique carpet colorations. The site also lets them view the rugs in various room settings and print or email samples to clients. Other hues from Obeetee's bank of more than 4,000 colors and additional fibers like silk, viscose, nylon and cotton are possible with a customized lead time.

The carpets are available in two levels of density, and the dense quality of the construction will allow them to perform well in demanding settings.

The Obeetee booth at BDNY will be dressed with a large Obeetee Express carpet with an abstract, geometrically inspired design in a mélange of grays and gold. Yarns of the 194 Obeetee Express colors will be showcased in terrariums of varying sizes in bookshelves against one wall. Wood modules will display 20-inch by 20-inch hanging samples and other items. A few select designs from the DIFFA Collection will be shown as well.

Obeetee Express launched in October with a collection of 17 designs, each created by a notable designer or architect, to benefit DIFFA: Design Industries Foundation Fighting AIDS, one of the largest funders of HIV/AIDS service and education, as part of its Specify with Care® program. The designs are offered on obeeteeexpress.com with 10 percent of net sales going to DIFFA, regardless of the color selection. A majority of Obeetee's DIFFA Collection will be on display at the DIFFA exhibit area at BDNY, #1253. Obeetee's DIFFA Collection will also be shown at the DIFFA exhibit space at NeoCon East, at the Pennsylvania Convention Center in Philadelphia, November 15 and 16.
