Troy, N.C. — Capel Rugs is introducing a variety of innovative rug designs at the October 13-17 High Point Market, expanding its highly popular Biltmore® licensing program as well as its branded flagship line.
Designed for use outdoors, Finesse Lattice is being offered for the first time to buyers. Capel is also adding a new easy care rug with Sunbrella border that uses an exclusive Biltmore® by Castelle fabric. Both rugs will be featured in both the Capel Rugs (Market Square, Space 112) and Castelle (IHFC Main Wing, Spaces 101 and 105) showrooms, where it will be shown as part of the company's Biltmore® by Castelle outdoor furniture presentation. Capel is also adding outdoor Finesse Lattice rugs to its Biltmore® collection at High Point.
At market, Capel Rugs' flagship line of Capel-branded products also is being expanded with a number of fresh imported designs. Introductions include two new transitional patterns being added to the Metropolis collection -- Carthage and Sojourn. Machine made in Moldova on Wilton looms, Metropolis features 100% New Zealand wool in three colorways. Carthage is available in smoky blue, and Sojourn offers the option of moonstruck or portico beige. A 5'3" x 7'6" rug may retail for $449.
This market, Capel Rugs also will be expanding its thick, soft Worthington collection that is durable underfoot in two new colorways — seafoam and lake blue. Casual yet sophisticated, Worthington is constructed on shuttle looms in the U.S. and perfect for a wide range of room settings.
A new fashion-forward design being added to the Biltmore® For Your Home program, Finesse Lattice is machine woven in Belgium of 100% olefin. The transitional rug features a lively geometric pattern and is available in five on-trend colorways — charcoal, noir, capri blue, navy and barley. A 5’3” x 7’6” rug may retail for $149.
Our Milagros collection is a treasure trove of timeless classic design. The rugs are available in an enduring palette enhanced by its weathered appearance in greystone, charcoal and blue steel. Milagros is machine woven of 50% olefin and 50% polyester in Turkey on Wilton looms with a plush, hi-lo pile texture. A 5’3” x 7’6” rug may retail for $449.
To reward buyers placing qualifying orders during market, Capel will conduct a special "draw for cash" promotion. Prizes will be drawn randomly by buyers and will range from $25 to $100.

Capel Rugs is debuting three dynamic new designs from its popular Kevin O'Brien line. Two of the collections take inspiration from places that have a special place in O'Brien's heart. Gilded Age is based on sketches O'Brien did of damask fabrics seen in a historic church interior in Paris, the city where he proposed to his wife. Willow is based on drawings O'Brien did during the couple's honeymoon in Kyoto, Japan. Brushstrokes began with a joyful splash of color in the artist's sketchbook that has been transformed into a casual/transitional design.
Each day during market, Capel Rugs will be serving fresh-roasted Starbucks coffee to its showroom visitors. In the late afternoon, the company also will hold a cocktail hour for attendees.
