TOWSON, MD (April 16, 2020) – DEWALT announces two new products, the 12V/20V MAX* Jobsite Bluetooth® Radio (DCR028) and the 12V/20V MAX* Compact Task Light (DCL077), simple, easy-to-use solutions for convenient entertainment and lighting on the jobsite. Each new product is compatible with all DEWALT 12V MAX*, 20V MAX*, and FLEXVOLT® batteries (sold separately).

At only 8.25lbs. (without a battery), the 12V/20V MAX* Jobsite Bluetooth® Radio is 45% lighter (without battery) and uses 45% less benchtop footprint than the DEWALT Bluetooth® Charger Radio (DCR025), yet it delivers excellent sound performance. This AM/FM Radio is portable and lightweight with 6-FM memory presets as well as a 3.5mm auxiliary input for a direct mobile device connection.

In addition, this radio offers Bluetooth® wireless streaming with a maximum range of up to 100 feet. An included USB port charges a user’s mobile device at 2 amps when the radio is plugged into the wall and powered via the included AC cord or when running off a compatible DEWALT battery (sold separately). The radio offers a premium quad speaker design with dual 3.5-inch woofers, dual 1-inch tweeters and a bass reflex port. Users can also adjust their sound experience of the radio through controllable EQ settings for bass and treble. The 12V/20V MAX* Jobsite Bluetooth® Radio offers a roll cage that helps to protect the unit from drops and bumps and incorporates an antenna slot that allows the antenna to fit within the top handle, helping to protect it from damage.

The 12V/20V MAX* Compact Task Light is one of the most versatile lights DEWALT has offered yet and it is compatible with all DEWALT 12V MAX*, 20V MAX*, and FLEXVOLT® Batteries (sold separately). Although compatible with these batteries, the light’s design is optimized for DEWALT 20V MAX* compact batteries, such as the 4.0Ah Compact Lithium Ion Battery (DCB240) which allows for full functionality of the light’s 360-degree rotating handle. This handle assists in a range of applications and allows the user to angle their light to help illuminate any job.

At only 2.8lbs. (without a battery) the light can be used handheld, self-standing, wire hung, or even mounted on a tripod (sold separately). The light features a single button that powers on and is used to adjust the brightness settings. With a DEWALT 20V MAX* battery the light offers 2,000 lumens on high, 1,000 lumens on medium, and 500 lumens on low. On the low setting, the light achieves up to 19 hours of runtime**. With a DEWALT 12V MAX* battery the light offers 1,000 lumens on high, 500 lumens on medium, and 250 lumens on low.

In addition, the light emits a 4,000k light temperature that produces a natural daylight hue that helps show a surface’s true color, assisting with paint and drywall applications. Finally, the light incorporates 5/8-inch and 1/4-inch universal thread mounts at the handle to be used with a range of tripod stands.

The 12V/20V MAX* Compact Task Light will be available without a battery and charger for $99 MSRP (DCL077).
