Tarkett Launches Award-Winning iD Mixonomi
SOLON, OHIO, DECEMBER 9, 2019 — Tarkett, a worldwide leader in innovative and sustainable flooring and sports surface solutions, introduces iD Mixonomi, a Red Dot Award winner. Inspired by the hexagon, iD Mixonomi LVT is the embodiment of a creative freedom where shapes and colors are combined and mixed together through thematic harmonies. iD Mixonomi is perfect for hospitality, retail, higher education and corporate environments.

The collection’s diverse palette is inspired by global travel, offering a cultural array from tender pastels to deep jewel tones and bold primaries to cozy neutrals. With eight graphic shapes and three mini-shapes that can be combined in a huge variety of impactful layouts, iD Mixonomi’s standard running line of colors and geometric shapes provide a custom flooring experience—without a custom price tag. With infinite possible design combinations of colors and shapes, designers are able to create a fully personalized, branded interior for their clients.

Creative Expression
To differentiate themselves in the marketplace, schools, hotel properties and corporate employers are operating in a reputation economy. Every detail of their physical spaces must support what they believe in and offer as a brand. iD Mixonomi provides opportunity and complete creative freedom to express who a brand is at its core. From multicultural palettes that can transport visitors to a different place, to dynamic graphic layouts that inspire creative collaborations, iD Mixonomi allows flooring to provide a foundation for the entire design aesthetic. A new, state-of-the art visualizer is available at mixonomi.tarkett.com to walk designers through the layout process and visualize their selections within a space.

“For Tarkett, the term Mixonomi represents absolute creative freedom, composing shapes and colors in unexpected ways and transforming the floor into a work of art. The collection’s 11 dynamic shapes and 34 globally inspired hues allow designers to create an entirely unique flooring experience from the standard running line,” said Kelley Bolas, senior product manager for Tarkett North America.

From the mono-shape flooring layout to more elaborate compositions, designers can mix and match multiple shapes and colors to build their own custom experience. The palette is divided into five color families:
• Cozy Neutrals
