Tarkett Launches Resonate + Capture, a Soft Surface Collection
In a time marked by experiential design, welcoming spaces have become the new business card. Resonate + Capture allow small businesses to quickly update offices and waiting areas with fresh new designs that make a professional first impression. Each of these complementary patterns is offered in eight colorways and three standard tile sizes, with QuickShip convenience available for 9” x 36” planks with ER3® modular backing. From medical practices to retail boutiques, and everything in between, Resonate and Capture deliver high style with unmatched convenience.
Resonate
Inspired by the popular wood flooring designs of the 1970s, Resonate is a fresh, modern take on classic parquet flooring. The fresh design will help small businesses quickly update offices and waiting areas to make a professional first impression. Pair Resonate with Capture to create a striking combination of old and new.
Capture
Capture is a contemporary interpretation of the plank floor boards of the 1970s. It was common during that time for designers to use both straight grain and parquet patterns together. You can easily recreate these elaborate visual patterns on the floor plane by combining Capture with Resonate in stylish layouts.
“Resonate and Capture provide opportunities for designers to specify crisp new designs at a valuable price point. The styles are timely and relevant for today’s workplace interiors, which will help smaller businesses create welcoming experiences that attract clientele,” states Terry Mowers, Vice President Commercial Design.
At Tarkett, we believe in placing people in the center of every space. So we’ve developed a portfolio of products, including Resonate + Capture, designed to work together both functionally and aesthetically, helping you create more productive workspaces that maximize return on investment. The Tarkett Solution SPECtrum™ helps you expertly recommend a flooring platform for the specific needs of every space and every budget. And our full palette of colors, patterns, and textures is coordinated to work together visually across platforms. So the endless balance of function, safety, and longevity is always done on budget, in style, sustainably. Without compromise.
In the mid-1990s, Tarkett developed the industry’s first closed-loop recycling process and equipment, turning old vinyl carpet backings into new ones. The result was ER3® Modular, with a backing made from up to 67% recycled content. Through the ReStart® program, we’ve received old flooring from across North America, and produced more than 62 million square yards of ER3 Modular tile, diverting this material from landfill. ER3 is NSF 140 Gold certified and is 100% recyclable into new carpet products.
At Tarkett North America, we believe that together, we can make a positive impact on people and the planet. That’s why we’re Doing Good—Together, connecting our sustainability efforts with what our customers value and our world needs. It’s an active, living commitment to create a future where people and the planet prosper in balance. Where sustainable flooring solutions don’t just perform. They inspire.
Resonate + Capture include Tarkett’s new Eco-Ensure™ soil protection technology, a fluorine- free chemistry based on a mixture of common organic elements found in the natural environment: carbon, hydrogen, oxygen, sodium, sulfur and nitrogen. Eco-Ensure has received the Cradle to Cradle® Product Innovation Institute’s Gold Level Material Health Certificate, and is now used on all Tarkett soft surface products.
