LAKE MILLS, Wisconsin – April 2019 – Kapro Tools introduced a line of new products specifically designed for the drywall installation market. These products include the 773 Magnetic Stud Layout Level, 254-40 Multi-Purpose Drywall Cutting Knife and the 258-10 Ergonomic Drywall Carrier.

The 773 Magnetic Stud Layout Level features magnetic stud slots at 16" and 24" that allow users to easily and accurately install wood and metal studs. The 773’s heavy-duty aluminum profile includes two break-proof, solid acrylic vials with an accuracy of 0.0005"/1" and a milled surface with rare earth magnets. The revolutionary Plumbsite® dual view offers plumb leveling at a much higher accuracy than a standard plumb vial. The 773 also meets rigorous German VPA standards and has a lifetime warranty.

The versatile 254-40 Multi-Purpose Drywall Cutting Knife provides four functions in just one tool. The 254-40 features a tempered steel cutting blade, tempered steel narrow drywall saw for curved cutting, drywall plane for corners and edges and a measuring tape dock for fast and accurate measuring and cutting.

Designed with health and safety in mind, the 258-10 Ergonomic Drywall Carrier is ergonomically designed to allow a user to lift and carry large drywall boards without muscle strain. The 258-10 includes two spacers placed below the boards to let the user make the initial lift using their leg, rather than pulling the boards and straining the user’s back muscles. The 258-10 also features spacer pull-handles for faster and easier retraction below the board, preventing the possibility of damage.
