Our business was started in 1947 by Sam McAlister. In July 1960, Murray
"Butch" McAlister came to work here and has worked here continuously since then.
He has 43 years of experience in all phases of wood flooring, laminate flooring,
residential carpeting and commercial carpeting.
Having worked
his way through the business, beginning as a delivery person, he assumed the
duties of manager in 1969. He purchased the company from his father in
1996.
He continues to subscribe to the philosophy of his
father which pledges that "we strive to offer a dollar's value for each
dollar you spend with us." We have no plans to change. In many ways, we still
remain old-fashioned in our approach to treating our customers like
family.
