At Gowdy Flooring, we are proud to call Amarillo home. Being locally owned and operated since 1997 gives us a stronghold in and strong attachment to Amarillo, Texas and the Texas Panhandle. Gowdy Flooring was founded by Gale Gowdy and was originally located in the Western Business Park in Amarillo. As business increased, we relocated to the Copper Ridge Shopping Center in 2000.
In January 2011, Gale Gowdy retired and sold his business to D’Ray Peeples. Gowdy Flooring is currently located at 5205 S Coulter, and has become Amarillo’s premier home flooring shopping experience. Named Best of Amarillo since 2015, Gowdy Flooring offers a beautiful design center with a vast selection of flooring and tile options and is acknowledged in the community for their superior customer service.
