Ecore Integrates Cork and Rubber in Origins Product Line
Lancaster, PA (June 3, 2019) — Ecore, a manufacturer of safe, ergonomic and acoustic performance surfaces for commercial and athletic markets, debuts the Ecore Commercial Origins product line. This new, premium surface combines cork and vulcanized composition rubber to produce a surface with better acoustic properties than traditional resilient flooring while remaining durable and slip resistant.

Ecore will premiere its Origins product line at the Spartan Showroom in Chicago located on 162 W. Hubbard Street, Suite 301 from June 10-12, 2019.

“Origins marks the beginning of a new era at Ecore, by combining its past with the present to create a sophisticated, yet simple flooring solution that hearkens back to our company’s beginning in 1871,” said Bo Barber, vice president of sales and marketing for Ecore. “The combination of 100% virgin vulcanized rubber with accents of cork delivers a strong, resilient surface that is durable, dependable and safe and will lead Ecore into its next phase of evolution.”

Inspired by nature, Origins features high-intensity, deep, saturated and pure colors that are near solids. Origins is available in 12-by-24-inch tiles that can be installed in an offset or herringbone pattern for endless design options. This elegant, high-performance flooring is ideal for any application that would typically specify carpet.

Origins’ chic palette features a variety of earth tones and bright hues with complementary bursts of color, adding depth and beauty to corporate, educational, institutional and retail spaces. A coating should be applied immediately upon installation.
