NWFA Members Support The Little Bit Foundation
(St. Louis, MO)-National Wood Flooring Association (NWFA) Chairman of the Board, Chris Zizza along with Director Steve Brattin and a group of NWFA staff members recently traveled to St. Louis, Missouri to support The Little Bit Foundation and celebrate the program’s involvement in their 29th school district. Zizza was motivated to make the trip in order to make a difference at a time when there is so much negativity in the world.

The Little Bit Foundation and its supporters are advocates of impoverished children in 29 St. Louis school districts. Their core programs are designed to improve students' comfort, dignity and self-esteem through academic enrichment, personal wellbeing and faculty support. One such program is the Little Bit Boutique, which provides children with basic life essentials such as clothing, shoes, personal care items and school supplies on a weekly basis.

If Little Bit is able to raise $20,000 before the end of the year, they will receive $400,000 from a passionate anonymous donor. In addition to meeting with the directors of the program and speaking with the children, the group also donated $10,000 to help Little Bit meet their goal.

“It was incredibly emotional to see students whose educations are hindered by their desperate need for simple necessities.” States Zizza, who is also President of C+R Flooring in Westwood, MA. “This foundation does amazing things that we should all strive to accomplish in our own communities.”
