Casalgrande, 3 October 2017 – Gemme, Costruire, Le Plance and Pierre de France are the new collections dedicated to the worlds of architecture and design by Serenissima for Cersaie 2017. The historic ceramic company, the flagship brand of Gruppo Romani, will be inaugurating the upcoming commercial season with new collections designed to satisfy the requirements of contemporary design, at Bologna, 25 to 29 September, at Pavilion 16 stand B1.
Serenissima's designers have drawn inspiration from construction and building, observing the materials used on construction sites to design the new Costruire project. This is a container in which ARGILLA, LEGNO and METALLO (CLAY, WOOD and METAL) stand side by side, artfully combined in an eclectic series of chromatic contrasts and correspondences, thicknesses and modular sizes, resulting in an original, innovative proposal for architects.
The Gemme project, on the other hand, showcases the results of Serenissima's stylistic studies of marble in its almost innumerable varieties. This container of surfaces, inspired by the extraordinary natural material, unveils its hidden marvels of colour, nuances and veining, always original and never predictable, and enhances its expressive power and luminosity in the large 80x180 and 100x100 cm sizes.
The focus is on new sizes with the Le Plance project, dedicated to long 26.5x180 cm slats which reveal the full beauty of natural wood. In line with the most interesting trends in interior design, Le Plance by Serenissima is a versatile project for lending character to residential and commercial spaces with evocative and elegant colours. A fully fledged universe in continual evolution, Le Plance offers refined, luxurious suggestions, rustic, informal inspirations for covering any design with the laying patterns typical of wooden floors and walls.
Pierre de France recovers the desire for elegance and tradition, always associated in architecture with timeless materials capable of evoking intense sensations and suited to the most varied settings. The collection interprets a stone characterised by a dense, uniform structure, widely used in southern French country houses, but versatile enough in its ceramic version to be ideally suited to modern and contemporary spaces.
The Serenissima stand at Cersaie 2017 is the outcome of a collaboration with Bamax, VG newtrend and the designer Giorgio Ragazzini for the supply of furniture and accessories, and Bianchi Rubinetterie and Mastella Design for the bathroom mockups.
