IFDA The Impact & Influence of Light on Color - Benjamin Moore CEU
NEW YORK, Sept. 13, 2017 -- The IFDA New York Chapter hosted a seminar on the properties of color and light in addition to a history of lighting options at New York's Jacob J. Javits Convention Center. The event was held on Monday, August 21 during the running of the NY NOW® trade show, an IFDA NY Silver Sponsor.

Amy Figueroa, Architectural & Design Representative from Benjamin Moore, North America's favorite paint, color and coatings brand, and a IFDA NY Chapter Gold Sponsor, presented the seminar with assistance from Jennifer Limberg and John Walsh, both also Benjamin Moore Architectural & Design Representatives. She led the discussion on the various types of lighting available today and how light technologies can enhance or alter colors within a space. Attendees gained an understanding of metamerism, Color Rendering Index (CRI), Light Reflectance Value (LRV) and how these elements impact design and color decisions.
