Mannington Mills Officially Remains Union Free, Election Results Certified
SALEM, N.J.— March 1, 2012 -- Mannington Mills announced today that on February 27th, the NLRB officially certified the results of the IBEW union election, which was held at the company on February 16th. Accordingly, the NLRB certified that the required majority of ballots were not cast in favor of the IBEW, and Mannington remains union-free.
Mannington has been headquartered in Salem County since its founding in 1915. Fourth-generation family owner Keith Campbell, Chairman of the Board, commented, “We are pleased with the outcome of this election, and are looking toward a very bright future for Mannington and its associates.”
Mannington employs over 600 associates at its Salem facility, and over 1700 at other locations across North America.
