Välinge Withdraws its Claims Against Pergo
April, 28, (Baar, Switzerland) - Late last year, Välinge Innovation AB brought a patent infringement suit against various companies of the Pergo group in Delaware. As a direct consequence of Pergo’s total victory in the newly decided Swedish arbitration (see Press Release of April 15, 2011), Välinge was forced to withdraw all of its claims and dismiss its action.

“The withdrawal and Pergo’s recent victories in all the other cases brought by Välinge,” says Ralf Eisermann, CEO of Pergo AG, “are illustrative of Välinge's lack of direction and focus on the business situation. We have always directed our resources to better serve our customers and license partners, and the positive reactions from the market place confirm we are right.”
