Drapery Affair is a family-owned and operated business. We have been serving Ventura, Oxnard, Santa Barbara, Montecito, Camarillo, Malibu, Santa Monica, Moorpark, Westlake and Simi Valley for over 40 years. Drapery Affair started out creating custom-made draperies, valances, cornices, and a myriad of custom window coverings. Each and every window covering is designed, cut and sewn to exact specifications in our local shop. Only the best material is used and sewn using the best thread to create a unique and priceless product. In 1980 Drapery Affair expanded to include carpeting by Shaw and Mohawk, as well as hardwood flooring. Later tile and stone flooring were added to the growing product offerings. As the tastes of homeowners changed so did we, by offering new and innovative products to enhance the homeowner’s decor. We have always offered Hunter Douglas products, so it was only natural for us to extend that offering and provide our customers with the unique Hunter Douglas Gallery showroom. This has enabled us to provide you - our customer - a display to touch and feel the product before buying. In our Ventura showroom you have access to beautiful product displays, hundreds of swatch samples, and expert guidance to help ensure you're getting exactly what you need and want. Now we are have a fully functional home automation system demonstration for you to see, touch and feel in our Ventura showroom. This new system can control your lighting, blinds, shades, entertainment center, heating, and A/C all from a single (or multiple) control panel or hand held remote – or even in response to the movement of the sun.
