What sets The Flooring Center apart? It's the way we, as a family, do business. Dave and Dick Rusnak opened The Flooring Center in 1985 with the goal of becoming Central Florida's finest quality flooring retailer. Both are very active in the family-owned business and are dedicated to providing every customer with the very best service, value, and workmanship.
Dick graduated in 1973 from the University of Notre Dame. He began his career at L.D. Brinkman, the country's largest flooring distributor. He received numerous promotions and by the age of 29 was responsible for Sales & Marketing of this $100 million year company. Dick resides in Winter Park with his wife, Ann. He enjoys golf, walking, and is a huge fan of Notre Dame Athletics attending numerous games each year. His daughter, Kara, has joined The Flooring Center team and is currently the Human Resources and Finance Manager.
Dave Rusnak graduated from Jacksonville University in 1977 and also began his career with L.D. Brinkman. Dave was a continual award winner for his sales and management performance and was promoted to General Manager of the company's largest division. He and his family are avid sports fans, enjoy playing golf, boating and riding motorcycles.
