Fossil Faux Studios, founded by artist/designer Marcia Stuermer is an innovative studio based in San Francisco that strives to create the highest quality artisanal resin work that is beyond compare for each and every client project. The results are powerful visual and conceptual statements that, like fossils captured in amber, are frozen in time.
In order to assist our clients in putting a creative fingerprint on their projects, we initiate a collaboration process with each client via a dialogue to establish the exact aesthetic, conceptual and physically needs for the proposed application. We then determine the production methods, materials, composition, color, translucency and other elements needed to create the desired work. With our artistic approach and focused attention with each project, we offer our clients distinct individuality in each work created, whether that is for a large installation or a single, one-off piece.
All of our work is custom made and hand crafted after which it is CNC milled and finished to clients' specifications so that it is delivered ready for installation.
