The Carpet-Right Company

Hello and thank you for visiting our web site.

I would like to tell you about how we got started.  In 1949 my dad came to this country from Lithuania.  He didn't speak any English and started working as a janitor in a church.  From there he got a job installing carpets for a local carpet store.  Eventually, he went into partnership to open his own business in 1958 and soon he became the sole owner of The Carpet-Right Company.

I started working at the store installing carpets while I was in high school.  Eventually, as the years went by, I learned all aspects of running the carpet store.  We are still a family business.  Even though my parents are "snowbirds", they still come in to help out in the warmer months.  I think my dad, the original owner, still ‘lives and breaths’ for this store. He can make finished remnants better than anyone I know and he can make any kind of repair. Because of his 50 plus years of experience, he’s seen it all.

You could say that floor covering is my passion too.  I live here six days a week. Sundays are my day of rest to be with my family.

We offer mechanics with years of experience.  Some teams have been with us for over a decade and we are proud to have them available to install our carpets and hard surfaces.

At a time when many big chain stores advertise flooring for what seems like a very reasonable price…..know that we have good prices too, excellent dependable service and experienced hard- working installers.
