Since our inception in 1988, our philosophy has been to strive for perfect customer relations, unparalleled rug designs, and a superior selection of area rugs. Located in New York, we have become the premiere rug center of Long Island for individual homeowners as well as interior designers. We provide authentic, hand-knotted, genuine oriental Persian, Indian, Pakistani, Russian, French, Chinese, Tibetan, etc., which include modern, transitional, and traditional as well as antique and new rugs. We have a vast inventory in our showroom, including palace/oversize, rare antique, tapestries, unusual and hard-to-find dimensions, and collectible rugs signed by the artist.
Mr. John Khalil, learned the art of rugs from his father in their native Iran, before he moved to the USA to attend Tulsa University. He graduated with a Bachelors of Science, and proceeded to Wyoming University where he earned a Masterís Degree in petroleum engineering. After spending years diligently working for Petroleum Information, an international petroleum research company, Mr. Khalil moved to New York and established his first rug design center. He shares his knowledge as a professor at Long Island University, as well as a published author on Oriental Rugs. Many of his rugs have been sold at major auction houses like Sothebyís, and he stands behind his reputation as a leader in his field. His loyal following of interior designers and customers are a testament to his profession and integrity.
