After accumulating one of the finest and most unique rug collections worldwide, Mr. Amidi moved to downtown Palo Alto, California in 1978 with the goal of educating local communities about one of the most exquisite art forms in the world.
 
 The pinnacle of this passion can be found today in Medallion Rug Gallery's exclusive Private Collection. This "Museum of Rugs" remains one of the most magnificent compilations of world-class rugs and tapestries found anywhere.
 
 Today the Amidi family, along with the support of Medallion Rug Gallery’s personnel, is pursuing the same passion.
