Lawton Hayes began this Charleston-based company in 1987. From humble nings that included a few pieces of drying equipment, the business has blossomed (mostly thanks to word-of-mouth referrals) into a thriving employer. In fact, Lawton and Nancy Hayes were recently honored with the Marion E. Wade Master Award of Honor – the highest recognition bestowed upon any one of the 4,500 ServiceMaster franchises.
