It seems this foursome was engaged in serious conversation, but they were merely trying to decide where to have dinner—an important topic during markets. Shown, from left, are: John Chandler of the Vol T. Blacknall Co, a Barwick distributor; Al Wahnon, editor; Jack Love, vice president of Barwick, and Howard Reed, publisher. That was 28 years ago and Chandler, Love and Reed have since retired.
