I think this is the best column (“Customer service vs. company policy,”
FCNews, July 5/12) Warren Tyler has written in recent memory!
He is right on the money. I’ve encountered similar situations and he and I reacted identically. I think some businesses don’t even consider the ramifications of their actions; shame on them.
There is always another store, restaurant, haberdashery, etc., I can go to. And I do. And let me tell you, those stores I walk out of will never have me back as a customer…and I also talk to a lot of people every day…and spread the word.
