GARNER, N.C.—Industry veteran David Hartman has joined Pergo as vice president of sales for the company’s operations in North, Central and South America. He will be responsible for all aspects of Pergo sales, including management of the sales team, growth of new business and retailer relationship development.

Hartman, who will report to George Kelley, CEO of Pergo North America, replaces Tad Schimmelpfennig, who left the company to pursue other interests.

Hartman most recently served as president of the Philadelphia-based strategic consulting firm Alexandria & Associates. And while the firm has counted numerous flooring companies as clients over the years, Hartman’s knowledge of the industry comes from his many years as a mill executive.
