| Article | GARNER, N.C.—Industry veteran David Hartman has joined Pergo as vice president of sales for the company’s operations in North, Central and South America. He will be responsible for all aspects of Pergo sales, including management of the sales team, growth of new business and retailer relationship development. Hartman, who will report to George Kelley, CEO of Pergo North America, replaces Tad Schimmelpfennig, who left the company to pursue other interests. Ralf Eisermann, CEO of Pergo AG, said bringing Hartman on board is part of the company’s move to renew its focus on specialty retail. “His appointment demonstrates our taking a fresh approach to meeting the particular needs of our valued specialty retail partners. David’s successful record of building profitable businesses is due to his ‘voice of the customer’ approach, which aligns perfectly with Pergo’s philosophy.” Hartman most recently served as president of the Philadelphia-based strategic consulting firm Alexandria & Associates.
