| 2/16/2008 9:39:14 PM You thought you had it all/Surprise
Quite a few web sites allowed me to speak as long as I was giving them new information no other on-line installers had--until they thought they had all my information.
As the advice I've given here proves, I still have and learn new things everyday I install or repair.
I still have much I don't reveal and won't. Out of all the tenth graders doing carpet work, how many are giving you new information on a consistent basis?
I watch the boards as many of you do.

It's been nice having this board to myself pretty much, but taxman was cool.
In todays world, it seems a man is not allowed to ring his own bell, because others might not want to hear it.
I've never been a conformist and maybe I shouldn't have written the above--as it seems to make others angry.
However, if you want things for free, ya gotta take the good with the bad--as the retailers have always said to the installers.
Proof is a must in the learning process. This industry has so many dichotomies that the men can't learn any more, because they can't say out loud, hence they forget.
The few that do remember some, do so for the wrong reasons and they hate the person giving the info, because they see themselves as they should be the ones.
Look who the industry elevates and why. Our gov is the same way. Brownie is doing a hell of a job--george bush and Katrina.
I have to wonder if this industry taught the gov or the gov taught this industry.
