When tufted carpet first came out, top of the line workmanship in all fields was a necessity.

As this recession deepens, so too will the old demands come full circle, because consumers will have their pick and quite a few of you will become desperate.

What is the only thing that can lift a company head and shoulders above the rest? Workmanship and the knowledge base. However, the knowledge base has been twisted so badly--because proof is just not there.

The housing market will not even start a rebound, because for each percentage lost in the market, more people will walk away from being upside down in their houses, the insurance rates are thru the roof and so are taxes.

Our gov gave away our manufacturing base. We have imported the cheapest labor and as the market turns down further, people are moving back into their parents and grandparents houses, because then does the rent or purchase price and all the surrounding become affordable, just as when 5 or more Mexicans rent a house.

When we hold our children to higher standards, we too must hold ourselves and our workers to such, but as we hire the cheapest, we become ourselves--the cheapest.
