Any one ever figure out why installation standards were written by carpet cleaners? Are installers not considered smart enough? The cleaners that I have known carry a knee kicker and tacker to do repairs. And they are allowed to write our installation standards. No wonder most installers don't know that standards exist and the ones that do, don't follow them.

Rusty, it's because the CRI favors carpets cleaners for some odd reason. CRI gets all it's money from the mills too.
Now ask yourself why carpets cleaners can suddenly become hardwood inspectors by simply passing a test where they are givenm the answers.
