Stephen, Could you post a link to your Craigslist ad? I would like to see and example of how an ad can be worded.

Barry, I sent you a a private message on this forum.
Some friends think the ad is too wordy. I've had clients say it's the best. Ya never know. But if it works then it's good.

Ha Ha, no one can ever say I have been at a loss for words.
Pics are good. People like pictures and you can bet they will click on yours first. Plus link them to you website or flickr type account for more. You know what they say about a picture.

Stephen, Regarding your comment "you know what they say about a picture" meaning it's worth a thousand words ... fyi with websites many people make the mistake of thinking they only need to post pictures.
If someone gets to your site, just pictures may be enough. But to attract people naturally (as opposed to using paid advertising) to your site, you need to have 250-300 words per page.
That's because search engine spiders cannot read images. If a spider visits your page and only sees an image, it doesn't know what's there. You help Google and other engines know what's on your page by putting in words ... and, of course, those words need keywords and to be written fairly well, etc.

Here is another option. This site is like a social network. Not unlike facebook or myspace. However it is flooring specific. It's pretty new as far as flooring forums go. You can have your own page and post you photos for everyone to see and your photos are only on your page.
Find more photos like this on Flooring Installer .com

Stephen, when you do get your website built, whenever you post on flickr or any other site, be sure to include you web url. This will give you "link juice" and boost your page rank and search results ... eventually.
