Good questions. I reread my post and I guess I did not say that why we cost more is I would not do it with out using leveler, the other company tried to tell them they did not have to. Yes the old ceramic was in good condition the lady of the house just wanted a change. Yes we are talking about the same thing flat is same as smooth,level is a diffrent thing. I am not sure how the vinyl is fussed together but I will try and find out and as far as using plastic in crawl spaces I
still would.
