Solignano, 17 February 2017 – Ever attentive to the needs of home decor and design, Ariana is exploring new materials with the aim of expanding the field of application of porcelain tiles. The Horizon and Concrea Plain collections, now produced in the WIDE large-format sizes and a thickness of just 7 mm, will take the spotlight together with the Essential wood effect collection at the forthcoming Coverings, the most important North American trade show for the ceramic sector which will be held in Orlando from 4 to 7 April.

Thanks to the innovative Continua+ technology, Ariana offers a new range of sizes consisting of large-format 120x240 cm panels and a series of submultiples capable of meeting any requirement, from large architectural projects to residential building spaces. The dimensions of the WIDE panels open up new areas of application for Ariana porcelain, such as for cladding furniture, while its technical characteristics make it ideal for use on ventilated or glued exterior façades.

HORIZON rediscovers the timeless beauty of cross-cut travertine, an elegant and decorative material with a powerful, heterogeneous directional pattern. Enhanced by the large WIDE sizes, HORIZON offers a modern interpretation of the aesthetics of marble. It comes in two finishes (matt and lux+) and colours inspired by resins and concretes that contrast pleasantly with even the most contemporary surfaces.

Based on a stylistic fusion of resins and concretes, the graphic minimalism of CONCREA PLAIN is designed specifically for use in contemporary architecture. The collection comes in four warm, trendy colours and with a smooth, soft-touch surface.

Last but not least, the company's expertise in the field of wood-look ceramic is reaffirmed with ESSENTIAL, the parquet effect surface that stands out for its natural appeal and adaptability. In this collection, Ariana exploits the versatility of the panel in the new 26x200 cm plank format, which with its thickness of just 7 mm is highly flexible and easy to install.
