Solignano, March 23, 2016 -- With PLACE_2B, Flaviker is launching a new wood-look ceramic tile collection with a warm, intense aesthetic in keeping with design trends. The new Flaviker collections will be showcased in Booth # 1745 at Coverings 2016, the major North American tile and stone exhibition to be held in McCormick Place, Chicago from 18 to 21 April.

Based on a careful selection of original wood species and choice of sizes and surface finishes, PLACE_2B from Flaviker is an extremely complete ceramic design collection available in the two versions PLACE_2B Aspen and PLACE_2B Dublin.

PLACE_2B Aspen, with its soft, velvety tones, is inspired by wooden boards cut from old tree trunks with sinuous, elegant grain. The collection is focused on design and innovation, with a wood effect that will appeal to lovers of luxury and sophistication. It is available in two surface versions: natural, with a delicate manual planed effect; and Lux+, an innovative finish reminiscent of lacquered wood with surprisingly glossy honed surfaces which at the same time are extremely hard wearing and easy to clean. Aspen comes in three colours (Natural, Havana and Grey) and 40x170 cm, 20x170 cm and 20x120 cm sizes as well as a 30x120 cm (20 mm thickness) R11 grip version for exteriors.

Inspired by the distinctive interiors of Irish pubs, PLACE_2B Dublin consists of plank-format satin-finish tiles with the appealing and slightly shabby look of aged materials that display the signs of wear and footfall. The collection's rustic style is perfectly in keeping with contemporary design and has an intense, modern appeal. Produced in colours Smoked, Taupe and Beige, PLACE_2B Dublin is available in 20x170 cm and 20x120 cm sizes, as well as a 30x120 cm extra-thick 20 mm version for exteriors.

PLACE_2B indoor is produced using Auto-Leveling technology to ensure perfectly flat floors in any situation. The tiles can be installed either with conventional techniques or using the INSTA-TILE system, which avoids the need for grout or adhesive and has the advantages of rapid removal and complete reusability.
