BALTIMORE, MD., April 15, 2014 – Bill Morgan has joined Fishman Flooring Solutions as an architecture and design representative, effective immediately. Morgan, who has more than four decades of experience in the flooring distribution industry, most recently at Southern Tile Distributors, will represent Fishman in Virginia and eastern Tennessee.

In his new role, Morgan will be responsible for establishing and maintaining Fishman’s relationships with members of the architecture and design community in his region. He will ensure that they understand the features and benefits of Fishman products and services and track their satisfaction with them. He will also keep them abreast of new products that are introduced by Fishman vendors.

Morgan began his career in flooring distribution in 1974 as a customer service representative with Woody Distributors, in Richmond, Virginia. Over the next 12 years, he held increasingly responsible positions managing territories in Virginia Beach and Richmond, Virginia. He joined Southern Tile Distributors, where he worked as a contract sales representative, in 1986. He is a graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University.

Fishman Flooring Solutions, headquartered in Baltimore, Maryland, is the “Solutions Provider” distributor of flooring installation products. It has approximately 150 employees and 28 branches serving Delaware, Georgia, Maryland, New Jersey, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia, West Virginia and the District of Columbia. The firm distributes more than 36,000 products for 75 vendor partners.
