DALTON GA (January 9, 2013) –– Dream Weaver Carpet, a division of Engineered Floors, LLC, will unveil its new PureSoft Cashmere carpet at the Surfaces trade show in Las Vegas, January 29-31, 2013. Engineered Floors, founded by Robert E. Shaw, acquired Dream Weaver Carpets in 2011, which markets products primarily to the builder and retail flooring dealers in the industry.

PureColor PureSoft Cashmere is the first Solution Dyed PET soft carpet product in the industry according to Melvin Silvers, President of Dream Weaver. “Carpets made with Puresoft Cashmere fiber achieve superior finish and tip definition by avoiding the mechanical abrasion of the piece dye process,” Silvers added. The carpet is produced with Engineered Floors’ own SoilShield treatment and has lifetime stain and fade resistance warranties.

“We took soft to a new level and made it a reality consumers will fall in love with,” said Gary Hollowell, VP of sales and marketing for Dream Weaver Carpet. “That’s why we call it PureSoft ‘cashmere,’ because it’s a description the carpet customer will immediately recognize and totally agree with.”

“The carpet industry has never seen carpet this soft while still maintaining a smooth clean finish; its quality is unmatched,” said Hollowell.

PureSoft Cashmere will be available in a range of designer colors, including Dream Weaver’s new Tonal Solids. The new line’s softness is the result of Engineered Floors’ new fiber extrusion process that gives the yarn a “pillowy soft” feel. “Tonal Solids deliver a depth of color and shading you find in nature. These color combinations can only be accomplished with solution dye technology. The results are quite elegant for any décor,” said Hollowell.

Engineered Floors invested in almost 1.5 million of square feet of new manufacturing state of the art facilities, from fiber extruders and yarn twisters to heat setters, which has allowed us to keep the entire carpet making process under one roof while making our own solution dyed polyester fiber that delivers superior performance and value to our customers, Silvers added.

The new PureSoft Cashmere carpet will be on display at the Dream Weaver Carpets booth #S7335 at Surfaces.

To support the introduction of PureSoft Cashmere, Dream Weaver will be introducing a new display system at Surfaces.
