Karastan Brings Iconic Style and Trendsetting Luxury to Pinterest

Now, the luxury carpet brand is extending its influence and reaching design savvy consumers frequenting social media’s hottest new site: Pinterest. According to a recent report published by TAMBA, a Los Angeles based online advertising and marketing company, Pinterest is projected to account for 40 percent of all social media driven purchases by the end of 2012. Additionally, buyers referred from Pinterest are 10 percent more likely to buy something than visitors who arrive from other social networks. Pinterest-referred buyers also spend 10 percent more on average.

“These are important numbers,” said Arnold. “It shows us that we are on the right track with Karastan’s Pinterest platform, and our retailer partners stand to benefit from this latest effort. We believe Karastan’s Pinterest pinboards can generate new leads and help them capture business.”
