LATICRETE, a global manufacturer and leader of premium installation and finishing systems for the building industry, has announced that Jay Owens has been appointed Regional Sales Manager for the company's Specialty Products Division (SPD). The announcement was made by John Striednig, Director, LATICRETE Specialty Products Division, to whom Owens will be reporting.

According to Striednig, "We are excited about having Jay Owens on staff. In this new position, Jay will lead the entire SPD sales team. I am confident that Jay has the ambition, talent and entrepreneurial drive to continue the growth that has become the hallmark of the Specialty Products Division. His demonstrated track record of dramatically growing sales is a perfect match for the demands of his new position."

In 2008, Owens joined LATICRETE as Daltile National Account Manager. At that position, he helped implement the development of various sales and marketing programs with this major customer. Owens, who earned his MBA at Wake Forest University, previously worked for Lomax Tile & Marble, Inc. as a project manager and estimator, functioning with architects on product specifications for tile and stone installation materials. Prior to that experience, Owens participated in Mohawk Industries – Daltile Division Management Training Program, gaining expertise in all aspects of managing tile and stone distribution warehouses.
