Castellarano, 28 March2012 - At Mosbuild 2012, held from 2 to 5 April in Moscow's Expocentre, ARIANA is unveiling Tua, Idea and Convivium, three new ceramic tile collections that combine innovative design with original aesthetics and textures.

For more than 40 years, ARIANA has been creating vibrant, atmospheric collections aimed at people keen to design their own habitats, to rediscover the fulfilment of self-expression and living spaces that reflect their characters.

Tua, Idea and Convivium are the new spring 2012 collections from ARIANA, complemented by a wide array of original decorative solutions for creating the house of one's dreams.

Due to be unveiled for the very first time at the Moscow show, Tua offers a contemporary and highly original reinterpretation of top quality Italian marble.

ARIANA's new Idea collection uses state-of-the-art technology to reinvent the tradition of artisanal objects, creating a design proposal inspired by the appeal and high-gloss surfaces of handmade majolica.

An interplay of styles and materials is the distinctive feature of Convivium, a creative collection that breaks down conventional barriers between ancient and modern, blending forms and materials into a harmonious whole. Concrete meets ancient terracotta and natural stone, combining the best qualities of each to create an original new proposal for floors and walls that lends strong personality to living spaces.

TUA
The elegant new TUA wall tile collection from Ariana offers a contemporary and highly original reinterpretation of top quality Italian marble. This extremely natural reproduction of 6 different types of marble with a high-gloss finish is produced using state-of-the-art manufacturing technologies.

The TUA collection from Ariana marks a return to the qualities of purity and classicism and consists of a 33.3x60 cm wall tile with outstanding graphic and textural qualities that coordinates with a 33.3x33.3 cm floor tile.

Available in the six colours Bianco Statuario, Alabastro Grigio, Bianco Perlino, Rosa Perlino, Crema Marfil and Onice Lime, the TUA collection is complemented by a wide range of accents and trim pieces specially designed for each of the different colour versions. This gives users exceptional scope for customising interiors and for creating unique and highly personal projects.

Ariana’s new Idea wall tile collection revisits the craftwork tradition, skilfully combining the artisan appeal of glossy handmade majolica with the latest technologies. For this purpose it uses “micro” effect sizes (20x20 cm, 20x20 cm inset, 20x20 cm mosaic, all groutable) in a range of offerings that lend a strong personality to bathrooms and kitchens in homes with a contemporary or traditional style.

The Idea collection is versatile and creative and embraces 6 different living styles. It returns to one of Ariana’s most popular sizes, the 20x20 cm, and reinterprets it as a contemporary, sophisticated element for interior finishings.

Available in 5 colours and 3 different textures (20x20 cm, pre-incised insets and pre-incised mosaic), the Idea collection is complemented by a variety of accents. It coordinates perfectly with Ariana’s range of porcelain floor tiles to create highly customised design and furnishing solutions.

Ariana’s CONVIVIUM collection is inspired by the eponymous Latin term, the traditional ritual of gathering around a table to eat and talk in the company of friends. Through the creative use of different materials and sizes, this collection metaphorically evokes the pleasure of socialisation and offers scope for original compositional solutions.

CONVIVIUM combines numerous textures with six colours freely inspired by different natural surfaces. It recreates the appeal of timeworn artisanal terracotta, the warmth of stone and the modern character of concrete.

The collection comes in six colours, each representing a different material, which can be used individually or in two-tone combinations, complemented by a wide range of accents.

CONVIVIUM takes us on a virtual journey of discovery through different areas of contemporary living, creating exclusive design solutions that adapt perfectly to different interiors.
