Sassuolo, 27th February 2012 - Villa Pujol is located in Puerto Andratx, an exclusive location in Majorca, where the beautiful Balearic sea is skirted by wooded hills, creating a soothing and peaceful atmosphere. This villa was designed by Architect Miguel Bouzas with the utmost respect for the environment. A design study was followed that allowed the construction of a building of high technical and aesthetic quality.
For the floors of the entire house and the bathroom walls, the architect has chosen the Marmi Italiani by Century collection. In particular the Bianco Cadore colour, with a honed finish and rectified edge, in the 45x90 format. The warm colour together with the fine finish and large and versatile size created a practical and luminous interior, closely connecting the villa to the outdoors, where breathtaking views surround the garden and the swimming pool.
Marmi Italiani by Century has emphasized the stylistic choices of the designer and helped in customizing all the environments of the villa according to the design requirements of the client, while also enhancing the beauty and versatility of the ceramic tile. This feature convinced the jury of the first edition of the Quinquennial Tile Award, the event promoted by Fincibec Group for space designers, to select this project among the top 10 finalists.
There are only a few days left for the conclusion of the second edition of the Quinquennial Tile Award which is open to all professionals that have used ceramic materials of Fincibec Group brands, Century, Monocibec and Naxos, in architectural and design works between 2007 and 2011. The deadline for submitting your application is 10th of March 2012. Information and participation rules can be found at www.tileaward.org.
