LATICRETE, a global manufacturer and leader of premium installation and finishing systems for the building industry, has introduced LATICRETE Hydro Ban Linear Drain, a "trench drain" specifically designed for bonded waterproofing installations using LATICRETE Hydro Ban Waterproofing Membrane. The new product, with its low profile linear design, allows for the use of large format tile or stone installations in a shower with a single plane slope to the drain. It can be installed near the wall of the shower's interior or at central locations of the shower's floor in a variety of installations requiring waterproofing applications.

Crafted of precision, heavy-duty stainless steel with a brushed surface, these "made in the USA" drains are scratch and wear resistant. An optional "Tile-in Grate" allows for an "invisible" drain by accepting surrounding tile right into the drain grate's housing, therefore offering limitless tile design opportunities.

"The drain can be installed right alongside the shower wall with no potential waterproofing problems. The floor only needs a very slight gradient in one direction making it easier to install tiles.
