Boston, Mass. - Boston-based rug designer and colorist Barbara Jacobs announces invitation by Koo de Monde to be a Featured Artist, for her original designs in Silk Road Weaves.
The new site for fine curated works of art by international artists and artisans, Koo de Monde, offers a premiere collection of highly curated work by world-class artists of all types.
When you visit their web site you will, of course, see a number of designs by Silk Road Weaves shown there. Ms. Jacobs started her company Silk Road Weaves about 7 years ago, and works with private clients and through designers. "I enjoy creating these works of art for the floor," she says,"and I see it as another artistic medium. In addition to working with my other materials, the creative possibilities are seemingly endless. Because the people who make these rugs for me are so skilled, I'm able to develop many new ideas and at the same time I can be confident that only the most experienced adult artisans are involved."
Koo de Monde connects cutting-edge artists and artisans with sophisticated buyers from around the world.
A Special Video of rugs being madePlease visit Silk Road Weaves' online gallery at www.koodemonde.com, where you will be treated to a lovely video about our rugs being made.
From Concept to Delivery, a Boutique Rug CompanyStates Ms. Jacobs, "Being a small company offers distinct advantages to my clients. Because I am the owner, designer, and communicator, I am available to personally assist with all levels of custom rug design and development. For example, when a client has ideas they'd like to develop in a custom, hand knotted Tibetan rug, I can help with creating their vision in fiber as well as with adapting my own original designs to custom specifications."
