Article Number: 7025

WASHINGTON, DC – A total of 126 laminate flooring inspectors have earned professional certification from the North American Laminate Flooring Association (NALFA), making them the first in the industry to complete the inaugural course exclusively dedicated to quality laminate flooring.

“Designation as a Certified Laminate Flooring Inspector has multiple benefits,” says Bill Dearing, president of NALFA. “It provides inspectors business exposure on the NALFA website as a Certified Laminate Flooring Inspector, it allows them to profit from networking with some of the best inspectors in the business, it provides direct and privileged access to the technical support services of NALFA members, and it keeps them constantly updated on all technical innovations in the laminate flooring industry.”

The comprehensive curriculum for the one-day NALFA Inspector Certification Class includes NALFA history, a “Laminate 101” course, installation requirements, inspection tools and standards, product defect review, and inspection reporting and process.

The remaining date in 2011 for the certification class is Friday, November 11, in Calhoun, Ga. The first class offered in 2012 will be held in conjunction with Surfaces on Friday, January 27, in Las Vegas, Nev. The class fee is $350.
