MARIETTA, GA, May 31, 2011: John and Ellen Kruger of San Rafael, Calif., are the winning customers of Wools of New Zealand’s “Live Well with Wool” Sweepstakes, an exclusive spring event for Premier Partner retailers. From April 1 through May 15, 2011, consumers who purchased Wools of New Zealand Brand carpets and rugs from these participating retailers earned an entry in the sweepstakes. The winning entry was submitted by Barbara Brown, a wool specialist with Tahoe Specialty Carpet and Design, in Tahoe City, Calif. Tahoe Specialty Carpet and Design and Brown will be rewarded with the latest iPad WIFI 3G. The Krugers have won an entire year of ultimate luxury, with their choice of monthly “Live Well” services, including a personal chef, massage therapy, spa treatments and/or professional domestic services.

John and Ellen purchased Godfrey Hirst’s Needlepoint patterned loop carpet, a Wools of New Zealand Brand, because it was wool and the color and construction of this product are the perfect complement to their vintage 1912 Lake Tahoe home. They wanted wool carpet for its exceptional durability and easy care.

As part of the Live Well with Wool spring event, Wools of New Zealand also contributed $1,000 to Dress for Success, an organization dedicated to providing suits to disadvantaged women to help them launch new careers. Through the organization’s Professional Women’s Group program and Career Center, women receive ongoing support as they successfully transition into the workforce, build thriving careers and prosper in the mainstream workplace.
