FREDERICKSBURG, VA.—Andrew Goshorn, Commercial Carpets of America’s (CCA) installation service manager, has been elected president of the Maryland and Northern Virginia Floor Covering Association (MDNVAFCA), replacing Shawn Bayat of Quality Carpet One. Goshorn, who brings 29 years of floor covering experience to the position, will serve a two-year term.

During his 12-year tenure with CCA, Goshorn has accomplished various certifications along with an ever-growing expertise in floor covering. He is a member of the Flooring Contractor’s Association (FCICA), the National Wood Flooring Association ( NWFA) and serves as an associate member of International Certified Floorcovering Installers Association (CFI). For the past three years, he has also served as a board member and a member of the education committee for MDNVAFCA.

Other officers elected to MDVAFCA’s board include Jerry Bush of Stroup Flooring America and Armani Mahoozi of Lux Floors.
