Dallas, March 22, 2011 – Flooring Industries, the intellectual property company of the
Unilin group, has recently signed new license agreements with several manufacturers of LVT (luxury vinyl tile) products. These companies will from now on be allowed to manufacture LVT products with Unilin’s patented glueless “clic system” and will be provided with Unilin’s expertise during the start-up phase.
The first license agreement was signed in 2009 with the Chinese manufacturer Yihua Plastic. Since then, license agreements have been executed with the following companies: Daejin (Korea), Jinka (China), Novalis (China), Lodgi (China), Nox (Korea), Goldenburg (China), Daou (China), Senhong (China), Kingdom Plastics (China), Licheer (China), Oulong (China), Nan Sing Plastics (Taiwan), Jiangsu Beier (China), Changlong Plastics (China), and Handsome Plastics (Taiwan).
In January 2010, Flooring Industries entered into a partnership with the German company Windmöller, through which Flooring Industries gained the exclusive rights to offer the Windmöller patent rights to LVT manufacturers.
