CHICAGO—Ken Chmura, a 30-year industry veteran, has been hired by resilient maker Gerflor to lead its U.S. operations as general manger.

Pierre Lienhard, the company’s international operations director, said the position was created to solidify Gerflor’s position in the U.S. “We are confident with Chmura our businesses will continue growing significantly and that our brand value will increase accordingly.”

Chmura’s industry experience is wide-ranging with sales, marketing and management positions in a host of companies, prior to Gerflor, including Design Weave, DuPont, Lees, MSA Industries, Shaw and Tuft-Tex Flooring.
