Mannington Mills is back on top as Best Overall Manufacturer in the 14th annual Award of Excellence competition. This was the ninth time Mannington took top honors, which it last annexed in 2006.

Sponsored by Floor Covering News and the World Floor Covering Association ( WFCA), the winners came together for a special evening at the Roslyn Claremont Hotel in Roslyn, N.Y., to receive their awards.

The Award of Excellence is a way for manufacturers’ customers to honor the companies they feel help them most in running a successful, profitable business. FCNews readers, members of the WFCA as well as any other industry personnel not employed by a manufacturer were eligible to vote in the six floor covering categories—Carpet, Area Rugs, Resilient, Hardwood, Ceramic and Laminate—as well as for the top Overall company.

Voting was held between October and February. In addition, this year’s competition featured the inaugural Environmental Leadership Award, captured by Shaw Industries.
