Spotting Solutions introduces a new product – Stain Blotter Powder. This powder is made of lightweight, absorbent particles that can absorb up to ten times their weight in liquid. It is designed to treat spills that can’t be cleaned up right away, like a pet accident or a knocked-over cup of coffee on your way out the door for work.

“It acts like a thousand tiny sponges,” says Sales Manager Lou Shepherd. “All you have to do is sprinkle it on the stain and let it dry, usually overnight. And then all you have to do is vacuum it up – and usually no further spotting is required.”

“And this stuff is great to use to treat recurring or wicking spots. The problem in those situations is the large amount of spotting material below the surface of the carpet. When you spot or clean, the carpet appears clean, but as it dries, the stain wicks back up to the surface of the carpet, resulting in a call back. In these situations, spot again to clean fiber tips and then apply Stain Blotter Powder, allow it to dry completely and then vacuum up.”

Stain Blotter Powder is now available in cases of 12 one-pound jars. The cases cost $78 per case.
