WASHINGTON, May 18, 2010 – In a new communications strategy revealed today, The
North American Laminate Flooring Association (NALFA) will begin employing a variety of social media tools to engage laminate industry professionals as well as consumers. As The Voice of Laminate Flooring in North America™, the organization feels this new platform will help re-enforce its commitment to educate buyers, sellers and installers on the importance of quality laminate flooring products.
“Social media is all about creating a conversation,” says
Bill Dearing, President of NALFA. “These types of tools will allow us to generate a positive and mutually beneficial rapport with anyone interested in quality laminate flooring. We’ll be able to answer questions directly, offer advice, create relationships, and share industry news instantly.”
In addition to NALFA’s blog (www.allaboutlaminateflooring.com), manufacturers, dealers, retailers and consumers can now follow the organization in real time on Facebook and Twitter (“nalfa_certified”). In late summer 2010, NALFA will be launching a redesigned website and blog, as well as YouTube and Flickr sites where industry professionals and consumers can see and learn more about NALFA certified products.
