LG Hausys America, Inc. has announced Michelle Rhee has been promoted to North America Marketing Manager/Strategic Marketing Team. Ms. Rhee, who formerly was assistant marketing manager with responsibilities centering on LG Hausys floors, now takes over the marketing management of the entire collection of LG Hausys products. This matrix includes LG Surfaces, manufacturer of HI-MACS® Acrylic Solid Surface and Viatera® Quartz Surfaces as well as LG Hausys floors, manufacturer of resilient flooring primarily for commercial applications. LG Hausys America is a proud member of the global LG brand, which manufactures a myriad of other building and decorative materials which will soon be launched in North America.

Ms. Rhee earned her undergraduate degree in her native Korea, was a graduate-level student at the University of Illinois and received her MFA at Ohio State University. “I look forward to the challenges put before me by my new position,” Rhee said. “As a company, LG has very finite goals. I intend to create and implement strong marketing programs that will help us reach these as quickly as possible. We have the products, technology and people to make this a reality.”
